The Central Illinois Daylily Society was organized for the purpose of education, enjoyment, propagation, and displaying of daylilies; and the education of the public at large in the awareness of daylilies by means of conducting organized displays, walks, sales, and shows.We are part of the American Hemerocallis Society and are part of Region 2. Here you will find information on joining the Central Illinois Daylily Society, view pictures of member’s gardens, and answers to all your questions about daylilies.
Each year we hold a member’s only auction in the spring and in the summer we have a daylily sale open to the public. The last few years we have undertaken a judged Daylily Show which showcases our favorite plant. Join our Society so you can participate in our members only auction. We hold four meetings each year (usually in Feb. May Sept. and Nov.) The meetings are the second Friday of that month at 7:00 P.M. at the Rochester Community Building in Rochester, Illinois. Each summer we take a tour through member’s gardens or perhaps a bus tour to a plant related activity. Please click on the JOIN button for membership information.
