April 29th, 2012(Sunday 12:30-4:30pm) Note date and time change. Members only Plant Sale Auction. The club has purchased Daylilies from John Rice of Thorobred Daylilies in Kentucky. Plants will be cleaned, divided and labeled. We will try to get an inventory of what has been sent as soon as he lets us know. There will be new introductions as well as some a few years past. Visit his wesite and view his offerings. You must be a paid up member to attend. This is the time to bring back increase of plants won in the Club’s plant drawings. Also any donations from Club members would greatly benefit the club’s treasury. We will have a Potluck Dinner starting at 1:00pm. Chicken, table service and drinks will be provided by the club. Please bring a dish to share. Don’t miss this chance to get newer Daylilies at a great price. Rochester Public Library
May 19 2012 (Saturday) Carpool to Menard County Meet at Washington Park at 8:15 Drive to Petersburg to meet Menard Co CIDS members at the South parking lot of the vacant Dairy Queen on Rt 97 at 9:00 am.(You can also take Rt 29 North and turn west onto Rt 123) At 9:30we will tour Hodgsons Greenhouse in Kilbourne, then go to Brooks Garden Center in Petersburg. At 11:30 we will have lunch at Morningstar Mercantile in Salisbury (also on Rt 29). We will finish the tour at The Farm.
June 30th 2012 (Saturday) Tour of Members Gardens. Details still being worked out. Please volunteer your Garden. We would love to visit it. Schedule will be announce as soon as it is finalized.
July 11-14th 2012 AHS National Convention in Columbus OH.
July 14, 2012 Saturday Possible date for Carpool or Bus to visit Daylily Nurserys and Farms. More later.

Daylily Sale/Expo will be held at Washington Park Botanical Garden It will be open to the public from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm.The sale will be held inside and an educational display will be on site also.
